Following the first AWARD presented at the CATANIA Conference (September 2003) to Dr. Sami Ylönen , from Helsinki Technical University, Dr. Clive Loughlin, from Emerald - "Industrial Robot: An International Journal", wants to make the second AWARD at the Madrid Conference.

INDUSTRIAL ROBOT Special Issue

Dr. Clive Loughlin also supports the idea of the best 3-4 papers to be published in the Journal, where IR 32:2 is to be our 'CLAWAR special issue'. It is provisionally scheduled to be published on 19th March 2005.

The papers to be published in IR will be updated and extended versions of the CLAWAR papers and they will have to be modified to suit the IR broad readership profile. Also, although the majority of the papers in the issue will come from CLAWAR it will also include contributions from other sources and from different subject areas.
